Meet Dr. Alana Robinson

Being a dentist is something that I have wanted to be and do since I was six years old. After going through my own dental journey, I knew I wanted to grow up to have the same positive influence on other’s lives. My goal is to make the dentist a comfortable place for patients and their parents. I really care deeply about each patient as a person along with their families, so serving them and being a small part of their day is something I consider a privilege. I want each child to be treated as if they were my own.

I graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor degree in Science in Nutrition and Dietetics and a minor in Chemistry. I then attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry, where I received my Doctorate of Dental Medicine.

I grew up in North Carolina, the youngest of three kids, and one of 18 cousins! There are a lot of us, and it is tons of fun to be with the whole crew. When I’m not at work, you can always find me competing in a half marathon, trail run, or CrossFit. Working out is one of my top passions, along with cooking and baking. I’m usually eating something chocolate or drinking iced coffee! I also love to watch TV series, spend time with friends, and travel.

I love working with middle and high school kids in the community, whether in sports or youth group. Being active in the community is important to me because I believe communities only thrive when its members are all friends and working together. Plus, I love getting to know different people!
