Meet Dr. David Ashley

Seeing a need in the community for easily accessible specialty care, Children’s Dentistry of Central Alabama partnered with Dr. David Ashley in 2018 to offer wisdom teeth removal. Dr. Ashley is a high skilled oral surgeon who comes to the Children’s Dentistry of Central Alabama office with his team once to twice a month. Children’s Dentistry is proud to make this option available in Selma, as it saves hours of time for our patients who would otherwise drive out-of-town for consults and procedures. Through this partnership, Children’s Dentistry has been able to expand the high level of quality care patients have come to know and expect.

Dr. David Ashley is originally from Arkansas but moved to Alabama to pursue a career in Medicine. He attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he became a Doctor of Medicine and Medical Dentistry. He is a licensed physician and dentist in the state of Alabama. Dr. Ashley also holds certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and ATLS.

Dr. Ashley is currently Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS).
