Meet Dr. Rayne Osborn

I am thankful to be a dentist. It is immensely rewarding to know that I am doing what God led me to do: I knew, when I was eight years old, this was my calling. Becoming a dentist is what I was called to do. I grew up in a dental family and am a third generation dentist! It is a bonus that I work alongside my husband each day, and that we get to see our patients grow and mature into wonderful young adults!

I graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor degree in Biomedical Science. I then attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry, where I received my Doctorate of Dental Medicine.

Born and raised in Selma, I am happy to be part of our community. I love serving our patients and their families, and am honored to spend time with each. I love to lead a patient from dental fear to a place of comfort and peace through the visit. That is true of their parents, as well: everyone at our practice is responsive to a family’s desires and concerns, and works to set them at ease. When a nervous child finishes a visit with a big smile, and tells us they liked being here, I am thrilled. I want children to always feel safe, heard, and valued – and to know we love them as if they were our own.

I appreciate living in and raising our children in my hometown. Dr. James Osborn, my husband, and I have three energetic sons, Lane, Holden, and Luke, who keep us busy. Being with my family is my greatest passion. I also enjoy running, reading, and baking. We love our church, Blue Jean, in Selma, and love to travel and experience God’s creation in exploring new places, too.
